I object

These next two weeks of my life are going to be stressful. What’s new though? The theme for 2020 has been stress. One day to the next, I experience stress in some new form. These next two weeks consist of a mountain of work for school, work for my job and taking the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). I have four presentations, three papers to write (one being my capstone research proposal that has to be at least 20 pages), and a final exam. The LSAT may be the biggest obstacle in my path at the moment. I started studying for the LSAT back in May or June. Normally, this test would be five sections worth of material you can’t even study for because they are testing you on the technique of how you answer questions based on how they ask them. This means I could see questions on this test about science, math, politics and whatever else they decide to come up with. There is also a writing portion of the test that I will have to take. However, things are a little different due to COVID-19. I am now taking the test online due to COVID-19 and there are only three sections instead of five. I am not complaining about that part, though. This test generates a score from 120 to 180. This score is sent to law schools then once you apply to them. A good score would be around 160. I am hoping that I can pull this score off. If I get a lower score, that doesn’t mean law schools will reject my applications, but I would feel more secure with a higher score. I can’t wait until it is over, though. I am ready for Christmas break and a whole two months of no school!
